Founded in 2009 by Beverly May, Ohio House Rabbit Rescue addresses the urgent need for a rabbit-specific rescue in Central Ohio. After rescuing nine abandoned rabbits, the organization has grown to provide shelter and care for 25-30 rabbits at a time, helping over 900 rabbits offered for surrender annually.
OHRR has successfully rescued countless abandoned rabbits, ensuring they receive necessary medical care and find loving homes. The organization also emphasizes education on proper rabbit care, working diligently to prevent abandonment in the community.
