The Ohio Chapter of the American Academy of Pediatrics is dedicated to enhancing the health and well-being of children across Ohio. With over 85 years of experience, this nonprofit organization collaborates with state government, local nonprofits, and foundations to provide essential education and advocacy for pediatric providers. Based in Columbus, Ohio, a dedicated team of staff and contractors work tirelessly to address the educational needs of pediatric professionals and the public.

Our Impact

Through initiatives like the Smoke Free Families program, the Ohio AAP has reached over 60 practices, positively impacting thousands of families by reducing smoke exposure and unsafe sleep risks. Simple conversations with parents have proven effective in safeguarding the health of Ohio’s children.
