Odessa Crime Stoppers, Incorporated was established in May 1983 as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. The mission is to gather information about crimes and wanted persons, fostering a community effort against crime while encouraging public cooperation with law enforcement.

Since its inception, Odessa Crime Stoppers has successfully cleared 9,626 cases and received over 36,000 tips, resulting in the recovery of nearly $12 million in stolen property and narcotics.
