Our Story

Fifty years ago in Moorestown, NJ, a dedicated group of volunteers envisioned a mental health organization that would provide vital support to those in need. This vision led to the establishment of Family Service of Burlington County, which has evolved over the decades to meet the changing needs of the community. In 2011, the agency expanded its reach by offering 65 essential behavioral health programs across nine counties in southern and central New Jersey. The merger with Steininger Behavioral Care Services in 2012 and Greater Trenton Behavioral HealthCare in 2015 formed Oaks Integrated Care, significantly enhancing access to quality behavioral health services in Mercer County.

Our Impact

Today, Oaks Integrated Care serves over 34,000 individuals through 230 programs, providing essential mental health, addiction, and developmental disability services across New Jersey.
