Oak City Academy

Our Story

Oak City Academy was co-founded by Danny and Kari Breed, driven by a passion for making exceptional education accessible to children from under-resourced communities. Established in 2009, OCA has grown from a humble beginning with just 11 students to serving approximately 250 students today. The school integrates a Christian Montessori and Classical curriculum, fostering a rich educational environment that promotes character development and academic excellence.

In 2011, OCA opened its doors, and through the support of the community and divine providence, it has flourished. The completion of a new campus in Fall 2023 marks a significant milestone in OCA's journey, allowing for further growth and enhanced learning opportunities.

Impact

OCA's unique approach to education has led to remarkable outcomes, with 6th graders achieving an average test score equivalent to 11th grade. This success is a testament to the dedication of the teaching staff and the supportive community.
