Our Story

The Oahu Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals, founded in April 2009, operates on a no-kill philosophy. With a mission to ensure that every healthy treatable animal finds a forever home, Oahu SPCA has made significant strides in animal welfare. In our first three months, we undertook the largest rescue operation in Hawaii's history, saving over 1,400 animals in our inaugural year, thanks to the support of more than 2,000 dedicated volunteers.

Our Impact

Every week, more than 15 dogs and cats are rescued, rehabilitated, and re-homed. Oahu SPCA cares for approximately 45 dogs and 75 cats daily, providing essential services such as spay/neuter, microchipping, and medical rehabilitation.
