The Arc Ontario was founded in 1954 by a dedicated group of parents in Geneva, NY, who recognized the urgent need for opportunities for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. At a time when these individuals faced significant barriers to education, employment, and community involvement, The Arc Ontario emerged as a beacon of hope. Today, the organization offers over 40 essential services, ensuring that people with disabilities are welcomed, involved, and respected in their communities.
