NuLyphe Performing Arts began as a Dance Summer Institute in 2018, founded by Lezlie Christian. This initiative was designed to help high school students meet the requirements for the GRAD Cincinnati Scholarship. In 2019, the program was renamed NuLyphe, inspired by the meaning of Ms. Christian’s middle name, René, which signifies rebirth. This name embodies the essence of new life in the arts and on stage.
As a nonprofit organization, NuLyphe Performing Arts is dedicated to teaching young artists how to create and produce original works in dance, theater, stage production, and scriptwriting. The focus is on nurturing their passion for the performing arts as a viable profession.
