Our Story

On a hot summer day in 1954, a young boy named Carlos entered a church in Cuernavaca, Mexico, driven by hunger to steal money from the collection box. Father William B. Wasson, the newly ordained priest, saw the boy's plight and sought custody to provide him with food, clothing, and a home. This act of mercy led to the establishment of Nuestros Pequeños Hermanos (NPH), which has since provided orphaned, abandoned, and disadvantaged children with safe homes, meals, education, and unconditional love.

Since its founding, NPH has assisted tens of thousands of children, offering them opportunities to break the cycle of poverty through love, education, and support.
