Since then, it has evolved into a vital nonprofit organization, serving nearly 5,000 individuals each month with holistic services that include food delivery to low-income senior housing and a weekend food bag program for children.
In Fiscal Year 2023, Nourishing Bethesda reached 1,485 non-duplicated families and distributed over 460,000 pounds of food, showcasing a significant impact in alleviating food insecurity in the community.
