Founded in 2017, the Northwest Ohio Classical Academy Foundation emerged from the vision of dedicated community members, including Dr. Larry Fanelly and Professor Lee Strang. Their commitment, alongside the support of generous donors like the Delp family, helped raise $250,000 to bring the dream of a classical education to life. In 2021, the Foundation solidified its mission by purchasing the Glendale campus, allowing for an expansion to serve more students in the Toledo area.
Today, NOCA serves over 600 students in grades K-12, providing a content-rich classical education that emphasizes moral character and civic virtue. This approach not only trains young minds but also nurtures their hearts, preparing them for a lifetime of learning and responsible citizenship.
