Our Story

The Northwest Native American Basketweavers Association (NNABA) was founded to preserve and promote the traditional art of basketry among Native American tribes in the Pacific Northwest. Established by dedicated weavers, NNABA has been a beacon of cultural heritage since its first Annual Gathering in 1995.

Impact

With a membership of 500 and 100 youth participants from 49 tribes across eight states and Canada, NNABA fosters cultural preservation and community engagement through annual gatherings that unite weavers of all ages.
