Our Story

Founded in 1965 by a group of Seattle moms, Northwest Center is dedicated to removing barriers to disability inclusion in education, employment, and community life. The organization empowers individuals with disabilities from cradle to career, fostering a more inclusive society.

Impact

Northwest Center serves over 12,701 children through disability training for schools and supports 681 adults with disabilities in meaningful employment. Each year, 1,451 children benefit from early learning services, showcasing a profound impact on the community.
