Our Story

Founded in 1965 by a group of dedicated Seattle moms, Northwest Center is committed to breaking down barriers to disability inclusion in education, employment, and community life. The organization provides essential services that empower individuals with disabilities from cradle to career.

Impact

Each year, Northwest Center serves over 12,701 children through disability training for schools, supports 681 adults with disabilities in meaningful employment, and provides vital services to 1,451 young children with and without disabilities.
