About Northwest Access Fund

Founded in 1999, Northwest Access Fund is a pioneering nonprofit organization dedicated to enhancing the lives of individuals with disabilities in Washington, Oregon, and Idaho. As the first Community Development Financial Institution (CDFI) run by and for people with disabilities, it provides essential access to assistive technology and economic opportunities.

Impact

Since its inception, Northwest Access Fund has closed 1,972 loans totaling $12.6 million, empowering individuals to achieve greater independence through assistive technology. Additionally, the organization has conducted 3,979 financial coaching sessions, equipping clients with the knowledge to manage their finances effectively.
