Greater Good Grocery is a nonprofit grocery store located in the Canal Plaza housing complex at 435 State Street, Binghamton, NY. For years, the Northside community faced limited grocery options, and this initiative aims to fill that gap by offering fresh fruits, vegetables, meats, dairy, and more at affordable prices.

Impact on the Community

Profits from Greater Good Grocery are reinvested into the community through the Broome County Council of Churches. This initiative helps build ramps for homebound older adults, provides meals to children facing food insecurity, and supports individuals impacted by the criminal justice system.
