Northport Youth Sailing School

Our Story

The Northport Youth Sailing School was established to provide young people with the opportunity to experience sailing in a safe and fun environment. Starting with borrowed boats and a refurbished visitors’ center, the school has grown significantly over the years, thanks to the dedication of volunteers and generous donations. The construction of a new Boat House in 2015 marked a significant milestone in this journey.

Impact

Hundreds of young sailors have been introduced to the sport, learning essential life skills such as teamwork, self-reliance, and environmental stewardship.
