Our Story

The Northern Virginia Relic Hunters Association, founded in February 1972 in Centreville, Virginia, is dedicated to the study and preservation of American Civil War history. With a membership of around 200, NVRHA hosts monthly meetings featuring expert speakers on various Civil War topics. Members have authored numerous books that educate students, historians, and relic hunters alike. Through volunteer work and financial contributions, the organization supports museums, battlefield preservation, and local charities.
