First Tee Northern Nevada

Our Story

First Tee Northern Nevada is dedicated to teaching young people, ages 7-17, essential life skills such as honesty, respect, confidence, and sportsmanship through the game of golf. Founded in 1998, the Northern Nevada Youth Golf Foundation established a chapter of First Tee, officially recognized in 2005. The organization aims to instill The First Tee Nine Core Values, helping youth achieve their dreams, thrive socially, excel academically and athletically, and become successful adults with integrity.

Impact

Over 53% of participants in our golf and life skills education programs come from economically disadvantaged households, receiving these vital lessons at no cost. Annually, First Tee Northern Nevada serves more than 11,000 young people, providing free instruction, golf course access, equipment, and teaching supplies to empower the next generation.
