Established in October 1995, the Northern Nevada RAVE Family Foundation, now known as Family Respite Care of Nevada, began its mission to combat child abuse and neglect among children with special needs and disabilities. With a grant from the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, the organization has evolved over 28 years to meet the changing needs of the community. Today, it focuses on delivering exceptional respite care services to families, allowing caregivers to recharge and reconnect.
