The Northern California Peace Officers Association (NCPOA) was established in 1934 by law enforcement leaders in the Sacramento area. Officially organized in 1952 and incorporated as a tax-exempt nonprofit in 1978, the NCPOA is dedicated to providing scholarships to juniors and seniors in the Criminal Justice program at California State University, Sacramento.
With over $250,000 awarded in scholarships, the NCPOA has empowered more than 200 students to pursue distinguished careers in public safety, parole, probation, and corrections.
