About NABA

The Northeastern Association of the Blind at Albany (NABA) has been a beacon of hope since 1908, founded by ten blind individuals dedicated to assisting others in adjusting to vision loss. Over the years, NABA has expanded its services to include rehabilitation, employment, social work, and assistive technology training, ensuring that blind and visually impaired individuals can lead fulfilling lives.

Impact

NABA serves over 3,000 individuals across the Capital Region, providing essential skills and training that empower them to live, work, and travel independently. The organization also contributes to public safety by producing goods for municipalities and military branches.
