The Northeast Mens Alliance (NEMA), Inc. is dedicated to fostering personal growth and healing among men through nature and community support. Founded in August 2012, NEMA builds on a rich legacy of over 35 years, originating from The Berkshire Men’s Council. Under the leadership of Executive Director David Tall Heart O’Brien, NEMA organizes professionally led retreats known as Spirit Camps, providing a transformative space for men across New England.
NEMA facilitates semiannual Spirit Camps and workshops, creating a safe environment for men from diverse backgrounds to explore their pasts and envision their futures. This nurturing atmosphere contributes positively to their lives and the communities they inhabit.
