Our Story
NORTH, INC. is a dedicated nonprofit health promotion organization established in 1974, focusing on directing essential health care resources into North Central Philadelphia, an area facing significant health challenges. Since 1978, it has managed the WIC program in Philadelphia County, which serves the largest WIC caseload in Pennsylvania. With 10 full-time WIC offices and a Mobile Unit, the organization is committed to enhancing the health and welfare of low-income families, especially those with young children.
