Our Story

North Star Fund is a social justice fund dedicated to supporting grassroots organizing led by communities of color in New York City and the Hudson Valley. By raising funds and making grants, the organization empowers individuals directly affected by issues of racial, gender, and economic justice.

As of June 30, 2024, North Star Fund has awarded over $133 million in grants to more than 3,000 organizations, significantly impacting community organizing efforts.
