Our Story
In 2003, Bonnie Hathaway recognized the urgent need for services for homeless families in Leominster, MA. Partnering with her church and the Interfaith Hospitality Network, she helped establish the Montachusett Interfaith Hospitality Network, Inc. This initiative began by housing families in local churches but soon required a permanent facility due to building regulations. In November 2015, a dedicated benefactor enabled the opening of a large, permanent location, marking a significant milestone in the organization's journey. In October 2019, the organization proudly became known as North Star Family Services, Inc.
