Our Story

The North Port Symphony was founded in 1983 by passionate local residents who sought to create a vibrant musical community. Initially based at St. Paul’s Presbyterian Church, the Symphony has grown and moved to its current location in 2001. It features a diverse group of amateur and professional musicians, along with advanced students, dedicated to providing a variety of music programs.

Impact on the Community

With a mission to be the most welcoming community orchestra in Southwest Florida, the North Port Symphony actively engages with patrons, musicians, and students alike. In the 2023-2024 season, it donated over $10,000 in ticket sales to enhance arts experiences in the community.
