Our Story

The North Penn School District Educational Foundation was established in 1988, inspired by the vision of then superintendent Dr. Frances Rhodes and director Ken Weir. This initiative aimed to forge partnerships with local businesses and community leaders, creating a model for educational support that other districts could emulate. Over the years, the foundation has awarded 1,003 grants totaling $888,642, significantly enhancing educational opportunities for students in the North Penn School District.

Our Impact

Dedicated to closing the opportunity gap, the NPSD Educational Foundation ensures that every student has equal access to resources necessary for success. By providing essential services like internet access for families in need and organizing events such as the North Penn Community Backpack and School Supply Drive, the foundation empowers students to thrive in their educational journeys.
