Our Story
Bringing a Catholic high school to North Houston was a dream for the founders of Frassati Catholic High School, a vision that took nearly 25 years to realize. In 2007, the North Houston Catholic High School committee was revitalized with a mission to establish a co-educational college preparatory school. After a comprehensive feasibility study in 2008, the Archdiocese of Galveston-Houston approved the plan, leading to the purchase of a 63-acre site in December 2009.
In 2011, the Dominican Sisters of the Saint Cecilia Congregation accepted the invitation to administer the school, and on August 22, 2013, Frassati Catholic High School opened its doors to its first class of students. Since then, the school has achieved remarkable milestones, including accreditation from the Texas Catholic Conference Education Department in 2015 and the expansion to a full 9th-12th grade campus in 2016.
