Our Story
Located in the heart of Minneapolis, North Central University is a coeducational, undergraduate institution founded in 1930. Originally known as North Central Bible Institute, it began with just 26 students in the Minneapolis Gospel Tabernacle. Over the decades, the university has expanded its degree offerings and moved to its current location in 1936, officially becoming a university in 1998. With over 24,000 alumni, 75% of whom are in ministry positions, NCU is dedicated to fostering a spirit-empowered community.
