The North Carolina Youth Rugby Union (NCYRU) was established in the summer of 2010 through the merger of the Carolina Youth Rugby Board of Directors and the North Carolina High School Board of Directors. This unification has created a robust platform to enhance youth involvement in rugby, positioning it as a viable alternative sport in North Carolina high schools. With a comprehensive five-year plan, NCYRU is dedicated to maximizing the development of youth rugby, ensuring that all young athletes have the opportunity to learn and play in a safe and enjoyable environment.
