The North Carolina Employee Ownership Center serves as the central hub for employee-owned businesses in North Carolina. Its mission is to educate business owners and their advisors on the benefits of employee ownership through Employee Stock Ownership Plans (ESOPs), worker cooperatives, and Employee Ownership Trusts (EOTs). By providing resources, case studies, and a list of service providers, NCEOC supports the transition to employee ownership, particularly focusing on minority-owned businesses.
