Founded in 1970, the North Carolina Council on Economic Education (NCCEE) is dedicated to enhancing economic and financial education for K-12 educators and students across North Carolina. Each year, NCCEE provides professional training to approximately 1,000 teachers, directly impacting over 15,000 students through academic competitions and educational programs.

In 2023, NCCEE trained 814 teachers, reaching more than 117,000 students, primarily from low to moderate-income backgrounds. The organization’s efforts have resulted in over 130,450 students benefiting from enhanced economic knowledge.
