NC Climate Justice Collective

Our Story

Since 2013, the North Carolina Climate Justice Collective has been at the forefront of climate activism, organizing five statewide Climate Justice Summits that foster holistic education and action. This Collective embodies the four Rs of social transformation: reform, resist, re-imagine, and re-create. By uniting diverse social identities, including BIPOC communities, youth, and allies, the Collective addresses the urgent needs of those most affected by climate change.

Our Impact

The NC Climate Justice Collective cultivates a multi-racial, intergenerational grassroots movement to tackle the root causes of climate change. Centering the leadership of marginalized communities, the Collective works to dismantle harmful infrastructures and promote a regenerative society.
