The North Brooklyn Community Boathouse began in 2010 when a group of urban paddlers sought to get boats on the water. With support from local businesses and community members, a space for environmental education and paddling activities was established.
NBCB has put thousands of people on the water and provided hundreds of educational experiences, fostering community engagement and environmental awareness.
