North Bay Organizing Project
EIN: 45-2369887 · Santa Rosa, CA
Our Story
Founded in 2010, the North Bay Organizing Project emerged from a collaboration of leaders dedicated to building community power among working people, tenants, immigrants, and youth in the North Bay region. With a focus on addressing the structural causes of inequality, NBOP has successfully mobilized grassroots efforts to advocate for social justice.
Impact
In the 2022-23 period, NBOP made significant strides by amplifying tenant voices, co-founding the California UndocuFund Network, and training a record number of youth leaders. Their efforts led to the enactment of permanent tenant protections and police accountability measures.
