MERGE for Equality, a program of the North American MenEngage Network, was founded to empower men and boys to embrace their authentic selves while promoting gender equality. Evolving from the Men’s Resource Center established in 1982, this initiative has become a national model for engaging men in the fight against violence towards women. In 2013, the organization rebranded to maximize its impact, merging the efforts of the Men’s Resource Center and Men’s Resources International.
Through training, consulting, and advocacy, MERGE for Equality transforms harmful gender norms and fosters emotionally connected boys and men. The organization collaborates with women and marginalized groups to create a safe and valued world for everyone.
