Our Story

CT Folk originated from a folk festival aimed at raising funds for the Farmington Rail to Trail Association and the Connecticut Fund for the Environment. Since its inception in 1989, featuring artists like Tom Paxton, Arlo Guthrie, and Judy Collins, it has evolved from the Eli Whitney Folk Festival to the New Haven Folk Festival, and now proudly operates as CT Folk.

Impact

CT Folk engages, entertains, and inspires through diverse folk music while fostering a socially just and environmentally sustainable community.
