NFI Vermont

Our Story

In 1984, the State of Vermont invited NFI Vermont to create programs aimed at diverting children and adolescents from state hospitals. Rising to the challenge, NFI Vermont developed a comprehensive system of care that includes crisis stabilization, residential care, and therapeutic foster care. Over the past 40 years, NFI Vermont has expanded its reach, establishing multiple programs and partnerships to address the unmet mental health and educational needs of Vermont’s youth and families.
