Our Story

The North American Conference on Ethiopian Jewry (NACOEJ) was founded in 1982 to provide vital support and educational programs for Ethiopian Jews. The organization has been instrumental in assisting Ethiopian Jews during times of famine and disease, particularly in the 1980s, and continues to support their integration into Israeli society.

Impact

NACOEJ has provided essential food, education, and employment support to Ethiopian Jews in both Ethiopia and Israel. Through grain distributions and nutritional meals for children, NACOEJ has significantly improved the lives of many.
