Established in 1949 through a generous bequest from Mabel Norman Cerio, the Norman Bird Sanctuary serves as a vital refuge for wildlife and a hub for environmental education. Nestled on Aquidneck Island, this sanctuary spans 300 acres of diverse habitats and features 7 miles of scenic hiking trails.
