Our Story

Founded in 1976, Nonprofit Connect began as a local chapter of the National Society of Fund Raising Executives. Over the years, it has transformed into a vital resource for the nonprofit community in Kansas City, serving over 7,000 members from more than 800 organizations. The mission is to enhance the effectiveness of nonprofits through education, resources, and networking opportunities.

Impact

Each year, Nonprofit Connect engages over 10,000 nonprofit professionals, board members, and volunteers, offering more than 100 educational programs that significantly boost the capacity of local nonprofits to fulfill their missions.
