Our Story

Founded in 1972, Noank Community Support Services (NCSS) began as a home for teenage girls in state care, affiliated with Noank Baptist Church. Over the years, NCSS has expanded its mission to provide a range of essential services for at-risk youth and adults, including a therapeutic group home for young women and community housing assistance for young adults aging out of foster care.

Impact

NCSS has successfully supported numerous young individuals in overcoming trauma and achieving educational success, with many residents graduating high school and pursuing further education or stable employment.
