Noah's Animal House

Our Story

Noah's Animal House was founded in 2007 by Staci Alonso to provide a safe haven for pets of domestic violence survivors. Located in Las Vegas, Nevada, this organization operates a full-service pet boarding facility on the grounds of The Shade Tree Shelter, breaking the barrier of 'No Pets Allowed' in domestic violence shelters.

Impact

Since its inception, Noah's Animal House has cared for over 1,900 pets, providing more than 100,000 boarding nights for families escaping domestic violence. This initiative has significantly reduced the recidivism rate for women staying at shelters with pets, showcasing the healing power of pets in recovery from abuse.
