Our Story

In 2006, David and Charlotte Hamblin were assigned by the LDS Church to travel to Africa, where David's expertise in agriculture was utilized to help communities learn to feed themselves. However, when the Church withdrew its resources, the Hamblins recognized a greater need: empowering girls through education and providing job skills training for women. Inspired by a scripture that spoke of a community with 'no poor among them,' they committed to returning and making a lasting impact.

Impact

Women in the programs have significantly contributed to their communities, feeding hundreds of starving families and sewing 70,000 COVID masks.
