Our Story
No One Left Behind is the oldest charitable organization dedicated to supporting former interpreters and U.S. government employees eligible for the Iraqi and Afghan Special Immigrant Visa (SIV) programs. Co-founded by Janis Shinwari, an Afghan interpreter, the organization was born from a commitment to help those who risked their lives for Americans.
Impact
To date, No One Left Behind has successfully evacuated over 5,500 Afghans and provided more than $2.9 million in resettlement assistance to over 1,300 SIV families newly resettling in the United States.
