Nihonmachi Little Friends is a dedicated nonprofit childcare center located in the heart of San Francisco’s Japantown. Established in 1975, NLF offers Japanese/English bilingual educational childcare for preschool through elementary school-aged children, fostering a nurturing and stimulating learning environment.
Impact of NLF
NLF has made significant strides in supporting the community, recently receiving a $99,790 grant from the Department of Interior, National Park Service. This funding will help highlight the stories of Issei women and the historic Japanese YWCA building.
