Our Story

Founded in 1975, API Legal Outreach, originally known as Nihonmachi Legal Outreach, was established by volunteer law students who recognized the need for multilingual, culturally appropriate legal services in their community. This organization is dedicated to serving low-income women, seniors, recent immigrants, and youth.
