Located in the heart of High Point, North Carolina, the Nido & Mariana Qubein Children’s Museum is a vibrant space dedicated to fostering wonder, discovery, and play for children and their families. Established in 2019, this innovative museum is the result of a collaborative vision led by local leaders and educators, aiming to transform the community through engaging educational experiences.

A Vision for the Future

The journey began in April 2017 when Forward High Point approached Dr. Nido Qubein, President of High Point University, to help develop a multiuse stadium. Recognizing the potential for a broader impact, Dr. Qubein expanded the vision to include a children’s museum, play areas, and educational facilities. This initiative has brought together a dedicated board of local leaders who have worked tirelessly to create a unique and interactive environment for children.

Innovative Learning Experiences

With the help of the talented exhibit design firm Argyle from Brooklyn, New York, the museum is set to feature traditional play areas alongside cutting-edge learning experiences. The museum will house the region’s first-ever STEAM Lab, where children can explore Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math through hands-on activities like robotics and creative expression.
