Our Story

In 2015, Tom and Nancy Cooper embarked on a mission to transform the lives of children in North Texas. Recognizing the critical importance of foundational learning, they established New Horizons of North Texas to provide essential support during the formative years of elementary education. The organization focuses on fostering resilience through academic skill development, ensuring that no child falls through the cracks. Today, New Horizons offers no-cost after-school and summer programs, along with a Christmas Outreach initiative, serving the communities of Dallas and Tarrant Counties.
